About

General Tools makes free tools for everyday jobs in India: UPI payment QR codes and shop stands, an internet speed test, a land unit converter, and calculators for electricity bills, road tax, traffic fines, jewellery prices and data use. Every tool runs inside your browser. What you type stays on your phone or computer and is never sent to our server.

We are an independent site. We are not connected with NPCI, RBI, any bank, any payment app, any telecom operator or internet provider, or any government department. The site is paid for by advertising.

QR codes are made with the open-source qrcode-generator library by Kazuhiko Arase (MIT licence); see open-source licences. "QR Code" is a registered trademark of DENSO WAVE INCORPORATED.
